The SIGMA 23mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary has an easy-to-use angle of view equivalent to the 35mm focal length in 35mm format, an F1.4 brightness, and high sharpness. The optical design comprises 13 elements in 10 groups, including 3 SLD glass elements and 2 aspherical elements, which allow for very sharp and clear images. The lens also has excellent resolving power right from maximum aperture. Furthermore, the wide F1.4 aperture allows for beautiful bokeh effects. The compact body, which fits in the palm of your hand, allows you to make the most of the great qualities of mirrorless cameras in any type of shooting. The particular optical design allows for flare and ghost-free shooting even in backlit conditions.

2?Compact barrel optimized for APS-C mirrorless cameras

To take advantage of the lightness of APS-C mirrorless cameras, the barrel is compact and lightweight. It weighs 340g*, is 76.9mm* long, and has a filter diameter of 52mm. All without sacrificing performance. High-precision technology, applied in SIGMA's sole manufacturing facility in Aizu, Japan, has allowed the lens body to achieve the ideal balance between excellent optical performance based on the latest optical/mechanical design and compactness. The AF system uses a quiet and high-speed stepping motor. Shooting is facilitated by the use of the latest algorithms.
