  V-AF was created for all video creators, from individual video creators to small productions and filmmakers. With the development of interchangeable lens cameras and the prevalence of video accessories, anyone can easily produce video content.

Samyang Optics will apply imaging-optimized elements to autofocus lenses to meet creators' desire to create high-quality video content more easily.

V-AF has increased compatibility from gimbal to drone by applying a consistent form factor from ultra-wide angles to semi-telephoto angles. The small size of ∅72.2 x 72.1 mm and light weight of 280 g have reduced the payload of drones. Since the V-AF series provides a unified center of gravity and size, no additional setup is needed, which significantly reduces time when using a gimbal.

There is a Tally lamp that shows the shooting status with an LED light so that even a single creator can quickly check the recording status. The focus ring has been redesigned to allow for follow focus application without additional accessories. There is also a custom switch and a focus button to set the optimized function for shooting.
