The beauty dish is the most popular light modifier, especially used for fashion, glamour, and portrait photography. This reflector, already equipped with a grid and front diffuser sock, can be used both in the studio and outdoors and has been specifically designed for Genesis/Quadralite flashes from the Reporter line (180 and 360, in manual and TTL versions).
The interior of the beauty dish is covered with highly reflective silver paint. The central diffuser, mounted inside, dissipates and reflects the light coming from the flash, diffusing it within the beauty dish. Thanks to its design, the Reporter Beauty Dish can create very sophisticated lighting effects, and the almost perfectly circular diffusion provides a unique effect in the eyes of the photographed subject. The light is much more contrasted compared to using the flash with other types of softboxes.
The Reporter beauty dish is entirely made of aluminum, and the package includes a honeycomb grid and a white-translucent front diffuser.
