One of the biggest disadvantages of a metal beauty dish is its rigidity and bulkiness. It cannot be folded into a bag and is difficult to transport and store. The Quadralite Flex Foldable Beauty-Dish is designed to address these issues. It is lightweight, small when folded, and easy to carry inside the included bag.

The detachable central diffusion disk is the main reason why this exceptional light modifier is so versatile. This disk is suspended directly above the light source and acts as a baffle that channels light onto a reflective surface of the shell. In this configuration, the Flex Foldable Beauty-Dish works just like a traditional metal beauty dish, but without its main drawbacks. However, it can be transformed into a full-fledged softbox in seconds.

Thanks to its spherical profile, this light modifier is extremely efficient and portable. Especially in tight spaces, rooms and corridors, it delivers light exactly where you want it. If needed, it can also be used with a grid (sold separately) for better light control.

Flex Foldable Beauty-Dish is based on an 8-shaft octagonal frame structure, which provides attractive circular highlights in the subject's eyes.

The outer shell is made of high-quality rip-stop nylon fabric for high durability, long life and light weight. The interior is laminated with a highly reflective silver film for even light distribution across its entire surface.

There are two layers of diffusers made of high-quality polyester fabric. This part has been carefully selected and tested to ensure proper white balance and color rendition.

The main part of the frame is metal. The steel tie rods effectively support the entire structure and maintain its spherical shape despite the lamp's inclination. The mount and baffle are made of aluminum.

The Flex Foldable Beauty-Dish is equipped with a widely used Bowens mount, which ensures compatibility with a wide range of studio and location lights available on the market. Thanks to separately purchased adapters, it can also be used with Broncolor, Profoto and Elinchrome flashes.
