Quantuum/Quadralite softboxes all feature a Bowens Standard bayonet mount, making them compatible with a wide range of studio flashes or lights. Made with high-quality materials, they have a very long lifespan and will be the perfect accessory for any type of photography you want to shoot.
The softbox will arrive disassembled in its carrying bag. For assembly, simply insert the rods into the loops of the softbox and position them inside the corresponding holes of the metal Speedring. Thanks to the special design of the ring, it will be possible to rotate the softbox 360°.
Also included in the package are 2 diffusers, one central (attachable with clips) and one front (attachable with Velcro), to provide full control and maximum softness of the outgoing light.
Furthermore, it is possible to equip the softbox with a honeycomb grid, attachable with Velcro; the purpose of the grid is to better direct shadows, to create particular lighting effects.
The choice of softbox should be made according to your needs and, above all, based on the power of the flash available. Below are the different models of Quantuum/Quadralite softboxes, divided by type:

• Rectangular (40x80cm, 60x90cm, and 80x120cm): this is the most common and versatile softbox shape, and its effect mimics natural light coming in through a window. The main uses for softboxes of this type are portraits, half-length shots, and full-body figures, depending on the size of the modifier;
• Square (60x60cm): softboxes of this shape are often used as fill lights (thanks to their great homogeneity), still life photography (as they totally concentrate the light on the object to be photographed), and portraiture;
• Strip (30x120cm and 40x180cm): the particular aspect ratio of this softbox is ideal for full-body portraits, fashion, or to create a particular light effect (vertical or horizontal). They can also be used to highlight only a part of the subject to be photographed, as in group portraits, to illuminate hair from behind, or used on edge to enhance an athlete's musculature;
• Octagonal (80cm, 120cm, and 180cm): this is the ideal softbox for portraits, thanks to the particular shape of this modifier which creates a natural reflection in the subject's eyes. The larger sizes of these softboxes are also ideal for photographing groups of people, maintaining uniform illumination;
• Deep Octagonal (95cm and 120cm): these particular softboxes have all the functionalities of octagonal softboxes, with the added characteristic of being deeper, to obtain a more concentrated light on the subject.
