The JJC FC-26U diffuser is made specifically for the Canon MT-24EX flash. With the diffuser, the light will not be concentrated in one spot (like a spotlight), but will be diffused, in order to reduce harsh shadows, caused by direct lighting on the subject, increasing the naturalness of the photograph. The diffuser is particularly useful for portrait photography, as "hard" light and harsh shadows are not desired in this type of photography.
