The UX UV filter with water-repellent coating is a redesign of the HMC UV (C) filter, now integrated into the new UX series along with the CIR-PL Slim filter. The UX UC filter is a completely new product and provides high quality standards with basic functions.

"UX" stands for "User eXperience," to indicate all the experiences that users will acquire using these filters and everything that derives from it. By calling this series UX, we aim to offer users better individual experiences through all activities related to photography.

Although not visible to the naked eye, UV rays can affect the image when shooting in places like the sea or mountain environments, causing blurred outlines or faded, whitish images.

UV filters can suppress the UV spectrum contained in daylight which mainly causes negative effects on images. This filter can be used with both film and digital cameras and ensures more vivid images. In addition, by keeping it constantly attached, this filter serves as daily lens protection.

MAIN FEATURES

The anti-reflective coating prevents unwanted reflections and increases light transmission.

A water-repellent coating has been added to the anti-reflective coating. This coating repels water droplets and makes it easier to clean the filter surface from dirt or fingerprints.

The slim frame ensures no vignetting even for wide-angle lenses.
